Purpose
- Responsible for pulling inventory for orders and preparing shipments
Responsibilities
- Prepares orders for shipment as per customers specifications
- Loads and unloads trailers using a forklift
- Off Load Containers by hand
- Counts and wraps material as per the pick list
- Inspects materials that are to be shipped and signs off on shipments by indicating name and date
- Consolidates, identifies and ensures quality of materials
- Places and relocates material using an RF gun
- Ensures manager is aware of any discrepancies with materials
- Records (pictures) loads and ensure pictures are up loaded in the system
- Cleans and sweeps warehouse of any debris
- Ensures manager/garage is aware of any safety issues with equipment/tools
- Supports the warehouse team in other areas if required
