Objective
Responsible for diagnosing and repairing trucks and/or trailers
Responsibilities
- Performs general & preventative maintenance services on trucks and/or trailers
- Ensures repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner
- Interprets work orders and technical manuals
- Assists in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting mechanical & electrical failures
- Complies with warranty procedures during repairs and warranty materials on completion of repairs
- Completes repairs or replaces defective parts, components or systems as required
- Tests and inspects trucks and/or trailers to ensure repairs are completed to manufacturers specifications and Government standards
- Ensures service documentation is completed as per instructions.
